Are you an accounting or finance professional with a passion for the arts, literacy, literature, and/or education looking to make a difference? Do you have experience serving on not-for-profit boards?

The Literature Centre is a not-for-profit organisation striving to create a future where all young people have access to Australian stories created by a thriving, valued, and diverse community of artists. To achieve this vision, we’re seeking a Treasurer to join our Board.

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide strategic financial governance and guidance.

● Collaborate with the CEO and members to ensure alignment on financial matters.

● Advocate for the financial needs and sustainability of the organisation.

● Attend up to four meetings per year face to face or online

Ideal Candidate:

● Strong background in accounting or finance.

● Previous experience on a not-for-profit board.

● Enthusiastic about the arts, literacy, literature, and/or education.
