Together We Achieved So Much – A Year-End Thank You

Published on Thursday, 12 December 2024 at 9:00:00 AM

"A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters. 2024 has been a year of remarkable growth and achievement for The Literature Centre.

We've had the privilege of engaging over 10,000 students across the state through our impactful programs, including our renowned Young Writers and Illustrators Program and our captivating Storytelling on the Road initiative, which brought the magic of storytelling to communities across the Pilbara, Wheatbelt, Great Southern, and Goldfields.

We culminated the year with the resounding success of the Drawn By Her exhibition, showcasing the incredible talent of Western Australian women illustrators, and our vibrant Storytellers Festival. This free community event brought joy to local families.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our funding partners, schools, community members, and artists.

We wish you all a joyous holiday season filled with peace and wonder. We will be closed from December 16th to January 10th and will reopen on January 13th, refreshed and ready for an exciting new year of stories and creativity."
