Wind down your 2024 professional learning at a fabulous ALEA WA Sundowner. Gather on the terrace of the Literature Centre with scintillating colleagues, satisfactory wine, tasty nibbles, and inspiring presentations.

This will be a fabulous, blended presentation of ALEA National Council-funded videos of Children’s Laureates Sally Rippin (Australia), Patricia Forde (Ireland) and Frank Cotrell-Boyce (UK) as they answer three questions related to the theme of the International Literacy Day 2024, "Promoting multilingual education: Literacy for mutual understanding and peace". Video will be interleaved with expert panel discussion from WA Literati Dr Ron Gorman, Dr Helen Adam, Elizabeth Spencer, and Sarah Dyson providing insights and food for thought regarding classroom application.
